Ferrari 458 Italia

There is a thing to be learned from exotic cars, and that is they help you accept the impracticality of just about anything that seems just a little too ridiculous for its own good. For instance, why pray tell would you need an exotic car in the United States? There is no autobahn to let it rip on, no fuel efficiency for a regular commute, not enough luxury (for the fastest at least) for common use, and certainly not enough trunk space for picking up groceries, much less, weekend trips to the beach.

HOWEVER, with all of these things that an upper-echelon sports car cannot do, it all compensates when it comes down to one pivotal factor: the wow factor. The idea that at a given moment, this vehicle can go from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds, can top out at 200 MPH, and has a 4.5 liter 562 horsepower V8 engine that can carry it along the way. But most of all, what always carries it over is the first impression. World, meet the Ferrari 458 Italia, the heir to the F430's throne. (via acquire)
