The WTF Worthy Colorware "Stealth" MacBook Pro

Taking into deep consideration how hesitant I am about even giving this product an inkling of an endorsement, I am just gonna present the facts... Followed by my stinging opinion. Because that is all I can do. The MacBook Pro is getting a special treatment by the good folks at Colorware for a limited edition MacBook Pro Stealth model. More or less, what this means is that the computer is covered in a matte black coating that is scuff and fingerprint resistant... and It'll cost you $6,000... Yeah, I know! "Get the fuck outta here" is what I said too!

Fact is, a major page is being torn out of the Alienware handbook by the good folks at Colorware and its ridiculous to think that someone would actually buy this shit. Sure, if you have 6,000 ducats to blow on a computer that will undeniably become obsolete in about two years or so, go right ahead, but just remember this much: If you're looking for something to make your fabulously-pretentious hipster box stand out just a little bit higher as a status symbol beyond the rest, than just get a fuckin' custom color for a couple hundred extra through Colorware. But don't try to get your extra nerdy jollies off by getting a computer dipped in fancy paint... After all, we're in a recession.
