For every heterosexual male, there is undoubtedly a war that goes on between men's bags vs. mankind. The reason why, obviously, is because of the fact that the line between attractive-yet-sensible luggage and, well, purses, murses or manbags(a name I absolutely loathe) is increasingly blurred and constantly changing. Granted, this has not prevented brands from producing excellent unisex pieces that can certainly be essential to any man's wardrobe.
Meet the Play Cloths Dirty Duffel Bag. Granted, I have no clue what sartorial connotations follow when a duffel bag is called "Dirty", but if this is the case, then more designers need to design pieces like these for men.
Even though lots of brands have the tendency to design stylish men's bags, this doesn't go to say that something isn't missing. The fact of the matter is that lots of men's accessories are simplistic, and while possessing the capacity to accent an outfit, they rarely have the ability to stand alone on their own merit as something to stand in awe of.... Least not in the same way that women's accessories exist in the market.
The Dirty Duffel Bag certainly excels by applying the luxury aesthetic of a weekender bag from the straps, pockets and structure, but doing this in a totally stylish Ostrich finish. I find this to be mostly a surprise in men's accessories because for some reason it is something I have not really seen before... And it is even more so a surprise that a streetwear label (or however the fuck you choose to categorize PlayCloths), is able to do this, and with flair I might add.
