Well god damn, it looks like the playing field is being leveled and for the better. Currently the Tesla roadster is the only automobile on the road that is pretty much 100% fuel efficient with the smallest carbon footprint on the block. Since they are an independent manufacturer that produces battery operated cars, their supply is never able to meet their demand need. However, if you place a larger manufacturer in the mix such as Porsche's oversight company, RUF, then everybody can play. The German automaker is working to develop an electric Porsche Cayman that is pushing 200+ horsepower 479 ft-pounds of torque and a top speed of 125 miles per hour and compete with the Tesla's 0-60 time of 4 seconds.
