Common Threadz

To me, this is a truly unique and exciting company. Common Threadz, unlike most socially or environmentally conscious companies, has created t-shirts that are attractive and most of all, out to do some good. While utilizing designs from up and coming artists as well as hip stylistic conventions to put on t-shirts, Common Threadz uses the proceeds from the t-shirts to help African children obtain the education that they deserve, but none of them get. Also, the company uses eco-friendly tee-shirts for their designs... As if things couldn't get any better. To me, seeing a company like this puts a smile on my face because it shows that conscious fashion can be good loking and also helps disspell the common belief that fashion is frivolous and overly consumptive.
